What this is.

Custom platforms. Web applications, internal tools, content systems. The work is built around a single product or a single team, with timeline and architecture that reflect what's actually being shipped.

Engagements run six months and up. Not landing pages. Not template work. Not a WordPress reskin with a new color palette.

The discipline is long-form by design — the kind of work that needs to survive a personnel change, an acquisition, a Q3 strategy pivot, and a senior engineer who leaves for a series-B competitor. If the project can't survive any of those, it shouldn't have been built this way in the first place.

How it runs.

Direct engagement with Rami as the operator. The team scales to the work — not the other way around. AI assistance is used where it earns its place: discovery, scaffolding, audits, repetitive code generation. The strategic decisions stay with the humans.

Decision logs are maintained from week one. Architecture choices, vendor evaluations, scope changes — written down, dated, signed. Anyone joining the project six months in can read the history before the first standup.

Optionally, an ongoing relationship through service 02 — fractional technical leadership — for the months after launch when most projects quietly degrade.

Scope.

In scope: custom platform builds, web applications, internal tooling, content management systems, technical content pipelines, API integration, AI-assisted product surfaces, deployment infrastructure, observability, handover documentation.

Out of scope: marketing landing pages, template reskins, WordPress projects, fixed-bid work under three months, work where the spec is "make it look like [competitor]". Those are real markets — they're just other people's markets.

Engagement.

Six-month minimum. One-year standard. Multi-year possible for platforms that justify it.

Engagements priced as fixed-fee or monthly retainer, scoped per project. Half-up to start, balance on milestones. No hourly billing — that incentivizes the wrong things.

Optional handover-and-hold retainer for the six months post-launch, billed monthly.
